1. Purpose of This Disclosure
This Risk Disclosure describes material risks associated with using QDay and interacting with digital assets generally. It is for informational purposes only, does not constitute advice, and is not exhaustive — you may be exposed to risks not described here.
2. No Investment Advice
Information on this website and platform is for general and educational purposes only and should not be considered investment advice. Any decision to acquire, use, transact with, or build on QDay or any related Digital Asset is made at your own risk and discretion.
3. Volatility and Market Risk
Digital Assets, including any native token used for gas or settlement on QDay, are highly volatile and speculative. Value can fluctuate significantly and rapidly, and you should only commit funds or resources that you can afford to lose.
4. Network and Protocol Risk
QDay, like any blockchain network, may be affected by software bugs, Validator or consensus failures, chain reorganizations, congestion, or other technical issues that could delay, fail, or reverse transactions. Sub-second settlement and other performance characteristics are design targets, not guarantees, and may not be achieved under all network conditions, including periods of high load.
5. EVM Compatibility and Smart Contract Risk
Applications and Smart Contracts deployed on QDay, including those ported from other EVM-compatible networks, may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended behavior. PQA Labs Limited (“PQA Labs”) does not audit, endorse, or guarantee the security of third-party Smart Contracts or applications built on the Network.
6. Post-Quantum Cryptography Risk
QDay implements NIST-standardized post-quantum cryptographic algorithms. Post-quantum cryptography is a comparatively new field: standards may evolve, new vulnerabilities may be discovered, and no cryptographic scheme — post-quantum or otherwise — can be guaranteed free of weaknesses, whether from classical or quantum attacks.
7. Agentic and Automated Transaction Risk
QDay is designed to support transactions initiated by autonomous software Agents, including AI agents, in addition to human users. If you deploy, configure, or rely on an Agent to transact on QDay — including via the x402 protocol or similar standards — you are solely responsible for its behavior, permissions, and any funds it controls. Errors in Agent logic, compromised Agent credentials, misconfigured spending limits, or unintended Agent-to-Agent interactions may result in rapid, irreversible loss across many small transactions before the issue is noticed. You should apply appropriate spending limits, monitoring, and human oversight to any Agent you operate.
8. Micropayment and High-Frequency Transaction Risk
QDay is designed to support high-volume micropayments. Cumulative fees, rounding, or errors across a large number of small, automated transactions can produce material losses even where each individual transaction is small, and such losses may be harder to detect through routine monitoring.
9. Regulatory Uncertainty
The regulatory treatment of blockchain networks, digital assets, and agent-driven commerce is still developing and varies by jurisdiction. Changes in law or regulatory guidance could affect the availability, functionality, or legal status of QDay or related services in your jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the laws applicable to you.
10. Cybersecurity Risk
Storing and transacting with Digital Assets carries inherent cybersecurity risk. Hackers, malware, phishing, and other threats could compromise your wallet, credentials, or Agent infrastructure. You are responsible for taking appropriate security precautions.
11. Irreversibility of Transactions
Transactions confirmed on QDay or any blockchain network are generally irreversible. PQA Labs cannot reverse, refund, or recover funds sent as a result of user error, Agent error, or third-party fraud.
12. No Deposit Protection
Digital Assets held or transacted in connection with QDay are not deposits, are not protected by any deposit protection or insurance scheme in any jurisdiction, and do not earn interest unless expressly stated otherwise by the relevant third-party application.
13. Third-Party Wallets, Bridges, and Custody
PQA Labs does not provide custody of your Digital Assets. If you use a third-party wallet, bridge, exchange, or custodian to interact with QDay, your assets are subject to that third party's security practices and terms, which are outside PQA Labs's control.
14. No Guarantee of Service
While PQA Labs strives to provide reliable infrastructure, it cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service or the underlying Network.
15. Acknowledgment
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept these risks.
